When you request our Home Delivery Service, we will be happy to pick up and deliver your garments right to your front door. This is a FREE service to our patrons. The following listing provides answers to the most common questions that we encounter regarding our Home Delivery and Pick Up Service. FAQs about Nor’east’s FREE Pick Up & Delivery Service

Q. Do you charge a delivery or membership fee?

A. No, Nor’east’s Pick Up & Delivery Service is FREE, whether you live in Hamilton, Wenham, Ipswich, Gloucester, or anywhere in between! You pay the same price as if you brought your items into the store for cleaning.

Q. Do I need to be home at the time of pick-up or delivery?

A. No. For your convenience, our delivery associate will automatically pick-up/deliver your items to your designated location.

Q. Where do you pick-up/deliver my clothes and other items?

A. You select the location you want our delivery associate to service. Perfect locations are your front, side, or back door, or in your garage/shed. We offer free wreath hangers for your door that you can place at the selected location for pick-up/delivery.

Q. What type of bag do I put my items in?

A. As part of our Pick Up & Delivery Welcome Kit, Nor’east Cleaners will provide two sturdy nylon laundry bags, tagged with your name, at no charge. Your first order may be placed in a plastic bag, along with your name, address, and telephone number.

Ask about our special Convert-a-Bag service that acts as both a laundry bag going to Nor’east and a garment bag from Nor’east to you. Although all Nor’east standard plastic garment bags are now biodegradable, the Convert-a-Bag eliminates the plastic altogether. It’s our greenest option!

Q. How will I be billed?

A. Nor’east Cleaners will bill you on a monthly basis, which can conveniently be charged to your credit card.

Q. What if I need something faster than the three-day turn-around on your route service?

A. You may place a Special Instruction Form in your bag, contact us at 978-283-4545, or email instructions to us at info@noreastcleaners.com.

Q. What if I have a special request/issue with my garments?

A. You can use the Special Instruction Form included in your Welcome Kit, fill in the necessary information, and leave it in your delivery bag with the garment.

Q. Can I get alterations or repairs done?

A. Yes. Simply fill out the Special Instruction Form and place it in the bag with your garment. If your article of clothing needs to be fitted, you may come in to the East Gloucester store for a fitting and we will deliver it back as soon as the alterations are complete.

Q. How do I handle problems with my order after the items have been returned?

Q. Am I required to use a Garment List with each order?

A. No, these are not required, but are provided for your convenience.

Q. How do I change my personal information and preferences?

A. Contact us at 978-283-4545 or by email to info@noreastcleaners.com, and we will gladly handle any changes to either your personal information or cleaning preferences.

Q. What days are Pick Up & Delivery offered in my town?

  • Tuesday/Friday: Manchester, Essex, Hamilton, Beverly Farms, Ipswich, Wenham, Beverly Cove

Q. Do you offer a guarantee on your cleaning service?

A. Our guarantee is simple and risk-free. If you are not 100% satisfied, please give us the opportunity to correct the situation. If we cannot, we will return 100% of your charge.

Q. How do I get started?

A. Call 978-283-4545, and one of our customer service team members will get you signed up immediately. Or, simply print out the Delivery Application Form and fax to us at 978-283-4515. We will then contact you to finalize your start date.
